Write and read documentation in your preferred language
AI Translation
Welcome to the documentation for our AI Translation Service, an innovative feature designed to enhance user interaction with our IPM client in their preferred language. With this service, we aim to break language barriers by providing translations for Readme and Release notes in over 136 languages. This ensures that every user can seamlessly access and comprehend essential information in their preferred language, making our platform more inclusive and user-friendly. Explore the capabilities and integration details of our AI Translation Service in the sections below to elevate your user experience.
Utilizing Translation
There are two ways to have the information translated: one, by using a parameter that extends all other parameters, or by making it persistent.
One-Time Translation
To translate the information you are about to receive, use the parameter --language {language code}
. This command will translate the package description, Read Me files, and release notes and for some languages the whole client.
Save Language Preference
If you wish to save your language preferences, you can do so in the IPMHub
config file. Locate this file at ~/.config/IPMHub/ipmhubcli/ipmhub.cli.json
on Linux system and on Windows at c:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\IPMHub\ipmhubcli
.
Make sure that enableApiTranslation
is configured as true and indicate your preferred language in the settings.
