Package visibility
Introduction
On IPMHub.io, we provide support for three types of package visibility: Public, Hybrid, and Private. Below, you will find a more detailed explanation of each of these visibility types. Please be aware that in the Free tier, we only support public packages.
Public Packages
Public packages are available for everyone to use. In the Free tier plan, public packages are always linked to a public Git repository.
Hybrid Packages
Hybrid packages, available on the IPMHub.io, are downloadable exclusively with the necessary authorization. This feature proves advantageous when you aim to showcase your work to customers without granting universal download access. In the search results, hybrid packages are identifiable by the lock icon positioned behind the package name.
Private Packages
Private packages, which are not displayed in the search results, can only be accessed by individuals to whom you have provided permission. Currently, uploading private packages is exclusively possible through the IPM
client, but we have plans to integrate synchronization with private Git repositories in the near future. Of course, you can view your own private packages in the portal.
